Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close is based on Jonathan Safran Foer's best selling novel of the same name. It was scripted by Oscar winner Eric Roth ( Forrest Gump, The Curious Case of Benjamin Button) starring Oscar winner Tom Hanks and Sandra Bullock as a member of its cast.
