Taylor Swift as Eponine in the film adaptation of the musical 'Les Miserables'

Taylor Swift will play as Eponine in the film adaptation of the musical 'Les Miserables'


Beside of being a well-known singer/composer and award winner in music, Taylor Swift is making a major career move. According to BroadwayWorld.com, she has been offered the role of Eponine in the film adaptation of the musical ‘Les Miserables’. While Amanda Seyfried has been offered the role of Cosette.



NY Post reported that Scarlett Johansson, Lea Michele and Evan Rachel Wood were all auditioning for the role as the daughter of the Mr. and Mrs. Thernardier, who will be played by Helena Bonham Carter and Sacha Baron Cohen. Swift acting is is already proven on her music videos, she was also seen in 'Valentine's Day' and a guest on 'CSI' and she has also an upcoming voice acting in 'The Lorax'


On the other hand, Seyfried, had already appeared in the musical film 'Mamma Mia' also has an interesting challenge ahead of her, she will be portraying the daughter of Fantine, who is to be played Anne Hathaway.

Taylor and Seyfried will joined by Hugh Jackman, who will play as Jean Valjean, Russell Crowne as Inspector Javert. Eddie Redmayne as Marius. Directed by Tom Hooper.
